Job Title: Senior Operations and Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced senior operations and maintenance manager to oversee the management of our main pipeline instrumentation for the smooth and uninterrupted supply of natural gas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Safe and Uninterrupted Gas Supply: Maintain instrumentation on pipelines to ensure pressure is maintained, guaranteeing a continuous and safe gas supply.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer daily technical and administrative support related to pipeline sections, assist in fabrication, commissioning operations, and maintenance of point of delivery pods (pod) and sales meter stations (sms) pertaining to headquarters.
  • Efficient Ufg Control: Ensure effective control of underground fuel gas through efficient instrumentation controls within the transmission network.
  • Quality Control and Reliability: Supervise quality control checks to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the system and monitor, support, and provide technical/administrative guidance on day-to-day meter operations.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of engineers involved in various activities of pipeline operation & maintenance, focusing on integrity management of gas supply within the network.
  • Support Smooth Gas Supply: Assist in maintaining uninterrupted and smooth gas supply over point of delivery pods, valve assemblies, sales metering stations, and liquid handling facilities.
  • Network Development: Support the development of plans for expansion & rehabilitation of the network and supervise installation & commissioning tasks related to section.
  • Staff Management: Manage, motivate, and train department staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership and develop risk response strategies for effective mitigation.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor risks and response strategies under their management, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.

The ideal candidate will be an engineering graduate from a recognized university, preferably with a degree in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics. They must have at least 9 years of relevant experience, including 4 years as a functional/team lead. Registration with pec is mandatory for engineers.

This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring the safe and uninterrupted supply of natural gas to our customers.
