
Pre-Sales Solution Specialist

As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the sales process, acting as a technical and business advisor to prospective customers. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, propose tailored IT solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze customer requirements and design IT solutions (networking, storage, servers, cloud, security, etc.) tailored to their business needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare proposals, bids, and presentations.
- Develop and present solution architecture diagrams, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and cost estimates.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects and clients.
- Assist in creating RFP/RFQ responses and ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Provide insights and recommendations for product/service improvement based on client feedback.
- Engage with customers to understand their IT environment and pain points.
- Position company products and services as solutions to their challenges.
- Build trust and credibility with stakeholders by demonstrating technical expertise.
- Work closely with post-sales teams to ensure seamless project implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with vendors and OEMs for solution validations and technical support.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's product and service portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales, solution architect, or technical sales role, preferably in an IT firm.
- Strong knowledge of IT solutions, including networking, storage, cloud services, servers, virtualization, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with OEMs like Cisco, HP, Dell, Lenovo, VMware, and Fortinet is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with solution design tools and platforms (e.g., Visio, cloud architecture tools).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business benefits.
- Vendor certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, VCP, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure, or similar.
