
Chauffeur for Maternal and Child Health Initiative

Transportation plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our initiatives. We are seeking a skilled and reliable driver to join our team at the Centre of Excellence in Women and Child Health.
Main Responsibilities:- Operate assigned vehicles safely and courteously, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport staff, patients, goods, office supplies, and laboratory specimens between locations, prioritizing efficiency and punctuality.
- Maintain the cleanliness of assigned vehicles, both inside and outside, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for occupants.
- Accurately record trip details, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, and other relevant information to support informed decision-making.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicles as required, staying up-to-date with regular servicing schedules.
- Coordinate major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff, ensuring timely repairs and replacements when necessary.
- In case of emergencies, respond promptly by notifying emergency responders and providing first aid until help arrives.
- Safely transport goods and place them at designated locations during transportation, minimizing the risk of damage or loss.
- Provide exceptional customer service, being courteous and polite while interacting with passengers and colleagues alike.
- Possess a current, valid driving license.
- Have at least 3 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a proven track record of safe driving and excellent communication skills.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, taking initiative to identify areas for improvement and contribute to process enhancements.
- Show a strong commitment to the aims and objectives of our initiatives, aligning personal values with organizational goals.
- Display honesty, reliability, and trustworthiness in all interactions and responsibilities.
