Job Title:
Partnership and Communication Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Partnership Specialist in maintaining records of minutes, updating the engagement tracker, and overseeing the engagement overview dashboard.
  • Assist the Partnership Specialist and Officer with administrative tasks, including arranging meetings, travels, events, and other related activities.
  • Enhance UNOPS' visibility in Pakistan through social networks, event participation, visual branding, and adherence to the communication strategy and SAMCO team guidelines.
  • Ensure that the achievements of outstanding country office projects are properly captured in relevant external communication formats for outreach purposes.
  • Provide administrative support for Partner Surveys and resulting action plans.
  • Offer procedural assistance to the Partnership Specialist and Officer in representing the country office at communications forums internally and externally.
  • Document project activities and events, including administrative media support for communications and reporting.
  • Assist in tracking and monitoring project activities, beneficiary data, and progress of schemes for communication and reporting purposes, including donor reports, internal UNOPS reports, and UNSDCF.
  • Contribute to preparing regular monitoring reports.
  • Assist in documenting lessons learned and best practices, sharing knowledge within the team and with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support data collection and compilation for reporting on key performance indicators related to partnerships and communication.

Education/Experience/Language Requirements:

  • Secondary School Education is required.
  • A first-level university degree (Bachelors') in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Development, Political Science, Communications, International Relations, or a relevant field is an added advantage and may substitute some years of relevant experience.
  • With secondary education, a minimum of 5 years of experience (or less depending on academic credentials) in partnership development communications is required.
  • Experience in Proposal Writing, M&E, and/or other related fields are highly desirable.
  • With a Bachelors' degree, only 1 year of relevant experience is required.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and photography is an asset

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in written and oral English is required.
  • Fluency in the national language Urdu is preferred
