Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to internal customers across various IT-related issues. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level support to internal customers via phone, email, or in-person

  • Detailed tracking of customer service needs in a ticketing system like JIRA

  • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and provide accurate feedback to management to maintain SLA compliance

  • Proactive monitoring and issue resolution of production systems

  • Escalation of complex issues to management and vendors according to established guidelines

  • Contribution to the creation of technical documentation and manuals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

  • 2-3 years of work experience in network administration

  • Configuration of Cisco/Avaya/IP based phones

  • Able to acquire and maintain knowledge of various applications and systems (Windows/Servers/MAC)

  • Working knowledge of office automation products and peripherals (printers/scanners)

  • Network security practices and anti-virus programs

  • Remote troubleshooting and clear instruction-giving skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
