Job Details

This role is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting sales teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential markets, industries, and clients that align with our goals.
  • Pursue new leads through outreach efforts.
  • Qualify leads based on criteria set by the sales team, ensuring they are a good fit for our services.
  • Follow up on open opportunities to drive new awards across all sites.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, including outreach metrics, pipeline growth, and new clients identified.
  • Support the management of the sales pipeline by tracking the status of leads, opportunities, and deals in CRM tools.
  • Draft comprehensive CVs of Principle Investigators for sharing with sponsors and CROs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to ensure timely delivery of information necessary to win trial opportunities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Certification in Sales or Business Development (e.g Sandler training, LinkedIn Sales Navigator certification). Preferred not required.

You should also possess:

  • Strong time management skills resulting in the completion of all deliverables within required timelines.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Document Management Systems).
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams and in close collaboration with others.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision from management.
  • Regular and punctual attendance.
