Automation Specialist Role Overview

Reef is hiring a skilled Automation Specialist to support the automation side of our offshore recruitment business. The ideal candidate will have experience working with workflow tools, including building and debugging complex workflows.

The Automation Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing workflows that power high-volume candidate screening, scoring, and interview processing.

Maintaining and improving existing workflows involves troubleshooting issues and making refinements as needed. This requires solid skills across webhooks, HTTP requests, GraphQL, authentication headers, and JSON.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent written and spoken English skills and a fast and reliable internet connection. They should be able to read and write JavaScript and understand low-code/no-code logic.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve existing workflows
  • Troubleshoot issues and make refinements as needed
  • Work directly with founders and technical lead to improve stability and efficiency

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working with workflow tools
  • Solid skills across webhooks, HTTP requests, GraphQL, authentication headers, and JSON
  • Able to read and write JavaScript and understand low-code/no-code logic
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Make, Zapier, Airtable, and APIs in general
  • Strong attention to detail when testing automations
  • Experience working with recruitment workflows is a bonus
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Fast and reliable internet connection; own laptop or desktop suitable for the role; quiet working environment; good quality microphone or headset
