Job Description

The role of Sales Engineering Manager involves empowering commercial sales teams with the tools to make their work safer, more productive, and profitable. This includes managing drivers, vehicles, equipment, and fleet-related spend in a single system, combined with industry-leading AI for complete visibility and control.

This position requires leading, mentoring, and developing a team of commercial sales engineers to provide regular coaching, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day activities of their team, ensuring effective resource allocation and consistent delivery of high-quality technical support.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with commercial sales managers to strategize on key accounts, identifying customer pain points, and developing tailored technical solutions and demonstration plans. The ideal candidate will also conduct regular one-on-ones and team meetings to foster a collaborative environment and share best practices.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role within a technical pre-sales or sales engineering capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree required, Bachelor's of science preferred.
  • Proven experience as an individual contributing sales engineer with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing talent.
  • Strong understanding of commercial sales cycles and the role of pre-sales in accelerating deals.
  • Familiarity with value selling concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong technical aptitude with practical experience of SaaS, hardware, IoT, and potentially AI/ML technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and propose effective solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the Pakistani market and local business practices is a plus.
