About the Role

The Public Safety Liaison Manager (PSLM) assists in fostering relationships with law enforcement and public safety officials, as well as developing strategies that prioritize safety, privacy, and transparency. The PSLM supports police investigation teams during critical incidents and advises on effective partnerships to enhance community safety and protect users' privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster positive, open, and collaborative relationships with law enforcement and public safety leaders;
  • Ensure platform safety by effectively responding to incidents and providing direct support for complex or critical situations;
  • Guide law enforcement on supporting investigations in a legal and ethical manner;
  • Work internally and cross-functionally to identify actions that reduce risks and minimize threats to our people and locations;
  • Identify, escalate, and respond to emergencies that impact our platform, people, locations, and communities quickly and effectively.

What You'll Need

  • Over 8-10 years of experience with a law enforcement agency;
  • Comfortable engaging with Law Enforcement and Public Safety officials at all levels within a high pressure environment;
  • Proficient in presenting findings both orally and in writing;
  • Skilled in various computer systems and internet technologies;
  • Willingness to travel within the country as required;
  • Flexible and able to work non-traditional hours on short notice;
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively adapt to daily challenges.
