As a Global Distribution Specialist at Colgate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the width and depth of distribution of our products in your assigned zone. This involves identifying new markets and accounts, adding specialty wholesalers, and optimizing the usage of activations to drive sales.

You will work closely with stockiest, Sales Support Managers (SSMs), and Primary Sales Representatives (PSRs) across the zone to ensure effective execution of customer development strategies and roll out of schemes. Your goal is to achieve sales and distribution objectives for the zone by prioritizing accounts for maximum impact through visibilities and securing insights from competitive information available in the public domain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trade Management: Identify new markets/accounts, add specialty wholesalers, classify stores according to accurate routes, advise SSMs to reduce non-purchasers, and optimize activations.
  • Sales Call Efficiency: Sell stories range selling, handling objections, etc.

Benefits:

  • Mentor and empower sales associates to perform well by ensuring that CP benefits are availed by SSMs.
  • Acknowledge any issues faced by sales associates in the field and provide support to resolve it.
