Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Training Specialist to develop and deliver high-quality training programs for healthcare professionals on family planning methods.

About the Position

This role involves facilitating interactive training sessions using participatory, adult-learning techniques to enhance engagement and knowledge retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs on DMPA-SC and self-injection techniques.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps in healthcare professionals' knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and other resources.
  • Provide expert feedback on training content to support continuous improvement and contextualization.
  • Assess knowledge transfer and skills application through post-training evaluations and follow-up visits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Certified Trainer in Family Planning (FP) methods with hands-on experience in DMPA-SC (including self-injection).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in conducting and facilitating training for healthcare professionals of different cadres.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering trainings on client-centered care and/or empathy-based approaches.
