
Senior Training and Development Specialist

This role involves taking a proactive approach to identifying the training needs of staff across the organization. Using various methods such as surveys, recruitment processes, performance appraisals, and training needs analysis, you will develop, implement, deliver, and monitor training programs within the organization.
- You will be responsible for producing an annual training plan and program based on identified training needs, statutory requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Liaise with external organizations to secure funding and support for the achievement of organizational objectives and delivery of the annual training plan.
- You will develop, coordinate, and maintain a suite of in-house training courses and workshops on a rolling program, including induction and management skills courses.
- Develop ad hoc or one-off training provision as required.
- You will also be responsible for developing and implementing the induction process for new staff.
This role requires:
- An ability to relate to staff at all levels.
- Leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- Organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- An ability to coach people and give constructive feedback.
The ideal candidate should have:
- An MBA with majors in HR or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar role.
