Job Title

Project Director and Engineering Manager

A seasoned project director with at least 9 years of experience in engineering management, preferably holding a PMP certification and registered with the PEC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans incorporating precise deadlines resource allocation and scheduling to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate with the accounts team to create manage project budgets striking a balance between cost-effectiveness and quality requirements.
  • Regularly monitor and assess project performance against defined parameters providing detailed updates on progress accomplishments and potential obstacles.
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules timelines and construction site regulations as well as adherence to design specifications and applicable codes and standards.
  • Highlight to management any need to activate penalty clauses against contractors in case of project delays.
  • Promote the implementation of rigorous quality control procedures throughout all project phases ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement robust risk management techniques identifying analyzing and mitigating potential problems to guarantee project success.
  • Establish effective change management procedures adjusting project plans as necessary to account for changes in scope objectives or external influences.
  • Optimize the allocation of resources for project teams collaborating closely with HR to ensure efficient deployment of human and material resources.
  • Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
  • Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
  • Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor.
