Job Description

About the Role:

We seek a seasoned HR professional to lead our human resources function in Pakistan. As Country Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on HR operations, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with local laws.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. HR Operations Management: Manage the smooth running of all HR operations, including payroll, employee records, and benefits administration.
  2. Policies and Procedures Development: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures that align with corporate direction and local legal requirements.
  3. Performance Management Implementation: Implement the performance management process and develop a system to support it.
  4. Employee Development Support: Work with the central L&D team to ensure ongoing development of employees.
  5. Payroll and Reporting: Ensure timely completion of payroll and HR reports.
  6. Employee Relations Management: Manage employee relations and handle disciplinary and grievance processes.
  7. Medical Insurance Benefits Administration: Serve as the point of contact for all employees regarding medical insurance benefits.
  8. Recruitment Collaboration: Collaborate with the central recruitment team to ensure the right people are in place at the right time.
  9. Compensation and Benefits Compliance: Work with the central compensation and benefits structure to ensure compliance with salary and grading structures and other compensation and benefits requirements.
Key Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor or above degree, major in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-11 years working experience in Human Resources function.
  • Labor Law Knowledge: Well-versed in labor law and HR-related regulations.
  • Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English, effective people management skills, discretion, integrity, attention to detail, and flexibility in working hours.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Leadership Ability: Ability to lead a team.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills.
  • Project Management Skills: Project management skills/experience.
  • Generalist HR Experience: Generalist HR experience preferred.
