Software Architect Job Description

This is a role for experienced professionals who want to lead the design and development of software architecture and applications. The ideal candidate should have at least 9 years of experience in designing and executing enterprise-class products, with 5+ years in technical leadership roles using Microsoft Technologies (.NET, .NET Core, Web Services).

As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for creating scalable and efficient software solutions while integrating inclusive design principles. You will also guide development teams in implementing best practices, ensuring high-quality code.

The job requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential to interact with internal teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software architecture and applications
  • Lead development teams and ensure implementation of best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure smooth communication throughout the development cycle
  • Evaluate and suggest tools, technologies, and processes that could enhance the development workflow
  • Mentor and coach junior developers and architects to ensure their growth and improvement

Requirements:

  • At least 9 years of experience in designing and executing enterprise-class products
  • 5+ years in technical leadership roles using Microsoft Technologies (.NET, .NET Core, Web Services)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as .NET, .NET Core, and Web Services
  • Understanding of inclusive development practices
  • Experience with accessible and inclusive web technologies like ReactJS, Typescript, KendoUI, Webforms, CSS, and HTML
  • Database knowledge and proficiency in SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience with Git, GitFlow, and Linux-based systems
