IT Project Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead our projects from initiation to delivery. This individual will be responsible for developing project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to align with organizational goals.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, as well as solid understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
  • Assist in planning, coordination, and monitoring of ongoing IT projects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate project schedules, documentation, and status reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Communicate project updates to internal teams and stakeholders to maintain stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with departments and vendors to gather information and support project deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Trello, JIRA, MS Project) to track tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing processes to guarantee high-quality project outcomes.
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items for project meetings to promote collaboration and efficiency.
  • Contribute to post-project reviews and documentation of lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an IT, administrative, or coordination role, including internships, is essential.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, is necessary.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, like JIRA, Trello, or MS Project, is required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills are vital.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with a keen interest in IT project delivery and digital solutions, are desirable.
