Job Title

Deputy Manager Facilities is a challenging and rewarding role that requires exceptional leadership and management skills. As a key member of the facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate facility operations and maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and mechanical systems.
  • Support preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and system failures.
  • Respond to facility-related issues and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Maintain system performance according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
Team Support & Supervision
  • Lead and mentor the facilities maintenance team to perform their roles effectively.
  • Help coordinate daily work schedules and assign tasks based on priorities.
  • Promote a collaborative team culture and encourage open communication.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Facility Maintenance
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs, SOPs, and SOWs to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendors for comprehensive facility management.
  • Lead facility operations aligning with established protocols, tools, and processes.
  • Ensure high-quality infrastructure maintenance, including internal and external building components.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
  • Strategic problem solver with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a customer service focus.
  • 6+ years in Facility Management experience.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and completing technical services.
  • Facilities management certifications are an advantage.
