Strategic Finance Leader

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans that align with the company's objectives, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and government agency reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies that support business growth and profitability. Oversee the development of detailed financial models to inform key business decisions.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk management plans and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyze actual performance against budgeted targets and provide actionable insights to drive business improvements. Prepare regular financial reports to stakeholders, including board members, investors, and senior management.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and motivate the finance team to achieve high levels of performance and engagement. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the finance function.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 8-10 years total accounting or financial management experience
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and leadership
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and teams
