Job Description

The ideal candidate should possess a strong finance background, preferably with CA Finalist, ACCA or equivalent qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly report to the Country Head and CFO, ensuring compliance with various financial, accounting and audit standards, including ISA, IFRS and statutory frameworks.
  • Develop and implement effective financial systems, corporate governance, policies and procedures, adhering to best practices.
  • Maintain operational compliance with internal policies and regulations, completing timely filings (Tax, SECP, etc.).
  • Monitor financial operations, prepare analyses and reports, providing guidance to operating staff to minimize risk and improve financial outcomes.
  • Manage cash flow, forecasting, and corporate relationships.
  • Review, update and develop internal control systems; oversee internal audits for compliance with policies and standards.
  • Implement preventive and corrective measures for fraudulent activities (forensic accounting).
  • Process payroll while maintaining confidentiality controls.
  • Continuously improve existing processes, focusing on team development and process automation.
  • Maintain accurate financial records of Jagah Online.
  • Organize and maintain files and records of financial evidence, payments, receipts, and other documents.
  • Prepare detailed financial models and capital investment models for potential investments.
  • Evaluate funds required for short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
  • Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
  • Maintain accurate reconciliation of transactions across the general ledger and sub-ledgers, along with key accounts.
