Job Title: Sports Administration Professional
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of sports events and activities at our institution. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage large-scale sports events and competitions, ensuring smooth execution and participant satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the department's presence through social media and other communication channels.
- Maintain accurate records of all internal and external events, including budget management and facility maintenance.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve common goals, provide training and development opportunities, and foster a positive work environment.
- Conduct research and analysis to improve sports programmes and student well-being, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in administration, event management, or a related area, with a proven track record of successfully organising sports events and competitions.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing social media platforms and creating digital content, as well as budget planning and financial oversight.
- Ability to conduct research, statistical analysis, and data interpretation, and create newsletters, video news, and presentation materials.
