Position Summary

The Chief Marketing Officer will be a strategic member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports and accelerates the company's growth objectives.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned, data-driven B2B marketer with a deep understanding of the IT services industry and a track record of building and scaling marketing programs in high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Planning

  • Develop a bold and innovative marketing vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overarching business goals and revenue targets.
  • Work closely with the CEO and other C-level executives to define company strategy and contribute to critical decisions on market expansion, service offerings, and strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities for growth and market positioning.
  • Define and articulate the company's value proposition and brand identity across all customer touchpoints.

Demand Generation and Growth

  • Architect and execute a robust, multi-channel demand generation strategy to build a predictable, scalable pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, paid advertising, content marketing, and account-based marketing (ABM), to drive customer acquisition.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive content strategy that positions the company as a thought leader in innovation, cloud, data, and AI.
  • Leverage customer and market data to optimize campaigns and demonstrate a clear return on marketing investment (ROI).

Brand and Product Marketing

  • Enhance and manage the company's global brand presence, ensuring a consistent and compelling message.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing service offerings, including positioning, messaging, and sales enablement.
  • Oversee public relations and external communications to enhance market visibility and credibility.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring marketing efforts are focused on creating a positive customer experience throughout the buyer's journey.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Foster strong collaboration between marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment on goals and messaging.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and contractors to supplement internal capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a significant portion in a B2B IT services, SaaS, or software engineering environment.
  • Proven experience in a marketing leadership role, with a track record of driving measurable revenue growth.
  • Deep expertise in demand generation, digital marketing, brand building, and product marketing.
  • Extensive knowledge of the technology landscape, particularly in Innovation & Platform Engineering, Cloud Transformation, and Data & AI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment is a significant plus.
