What is Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert?

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary professional to join our team as a Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert. This role goes beyond technical expertise, it requires strategic thinking, solution leadership, and the ability to influence decision-making at CxO levels. The ideal candidate will drive presales engagements, mentor junior consultants, and shape cloud and cybersecurity adoption strategies across large-scale enterprise and public-sector clients

What does Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert do?

Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead the design of complex, cross-OEM network and cybersecurity solutions across Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, and other OEMs.
• Map customer needs, threat landscape, and regulatory requirements to optimal OEM solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.

Pre-Sales Engagement

• Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities, create solution proposals, and deliver high-impact technical presentations and demos to C-suite and technical stakeholders.
• Engage with CISOs, CTOs, and IT leadership to understand security strategy, compliance requirements, and operational challenges.

Advisory & Best Practices

• Recommend and advocate cybersecurity best practices, architectural frameworks, and governance models.
• Author whitepapers, reference architectures, and thought leadership content to position the organization as a trusted advisor.

Product & Platform Insights

• Provide feedback to product and platform teams on market trends, OEM capabilities, and customer demands to shape future offerings.

Bid & Proposal Leadership

Own the technical sections of RFP/RFI responses, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client objectives.

Requirements:

Strong technical expertise in:

• Network Security Architecture (Firewalls, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, VPN, Network Segmentation)
• Cybersecurity Operations & Threat Intelligence
• Identity & Access Management, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Cloud Security

OEM Proficiency & Certifications (examples):

• Fortinet NSE 7/8
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE Security
• Palo Alto PCNSE
• Check Point CCSA/CCSE
• CISSP or equivalent industry certification

Business Acumen

• Understanding of telco, enterprise, and regulated industries.
• Ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value propositions.

Innovation

• Develop new solution frameworks that combine multi-OEM components to address evolving cyber threats.
• Pioneer reference architectures for hybrid/multi-cloud security and converged network security models.
• Introduce automation and orchestration concepts into network and security designs for faster deployment and response.

• Develop new solution frameworks that combine multi-OEM components to address evolving cyber threats.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to engage executives, technical teams, and procurement.
• Skilled in storytelling with technology, simplifying complex security architectures into clear, compelling narratives.
• Capable of conducting workshops, proof-of-concept sessions, and executive briefings.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related engineering discipline.
• Advanced academic or professional qualifications in Network & Security Architecture preferred.
• Continuous professional development through OEM certifications and industry-recognized programs.

Work Related Experience

• 10+ years in network and cybersecurity architecture roles, with proven expertise in designing enterprise-grade solutions for large, complex infrastructures.
• 5+ years in pre-sales or solution consultancy, influencing multi-million-dollar opportunities.
• Hands-on experience with multi-OEM integration (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, etc.) in enterprise and telco-grade environments.
• Proven engagement with CISOs, CTOs, and IT boards for security transformation strategies and compliance initiatives.
• Direct involvement in RFP/RFI responses, proposal defense, and competitive bid strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to map threat landscapes to solution portfolios and select the best-fit OEM technologies.
• Track record of producing whitepapers, reference architectures, and technical advisories consumed by both internal teams and customers.
• Experience in regulated industries (BFSI, Government, Telecom) with strong understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SBP).
• Leadership in proof-of-concept (POC) design and execution to validate proposed architectures.
• Exposure to emerging technologies such as Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, and AI-driven security analytics.
