Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and control Production operations of Hard Gelatin Capsule Manufacturing and delivery of target volumes. Complying GMP and Safety.
  • •Prepare Production plan aligns with Sales targets for all work centers in Manufacturing/Packaging and track the adherence for successful delivery of target volumes.
  • •Develop and implement BMRs, BOMs, routings, SOPs and standard works

Other Responsibilities

  • Monitor day to day operations of production department and proactively address any issues or challenges impacting the effectiveness and efficiency of the plant resources including men, material, and machine.
  • Ensure that departments are following established production schedules and procedures to achieve the targets in-line with set quality standards and maximum utilization of resources.
  • Review the reports of unforeseen disruptions/breakdowns, identify the reasons, and take effective measures to control re-occurrence. Analyse the raw material, inventory, production and waste reports and records to highlight non-productive activities/procedures with an aim to improve them.
  • Lead the team in case of critical or technical problems faced during production operation, take input of stakeholders, and suggest the way forward. In addition, ensure that the problem is identified through root cause analysis to provide a durable solution.
  • Ensure that the equipment is operated in-line with the recommendations provided by the original equipment manufacturer, through effective monitoring. Make the equipment available for preventive and predictive maintenance, as per schedules developed by the engineering department.
  • Release the Corrective, Breakdown, Calibration Process, Preventive, Condition Based, Shutdown/Turnaround, and Work Clearance Management Orders/Permits for endorsement.
  • Furthermore, oversee the technical completion/details.

Qualification


•
Masters Degree in Chemistry / Pharm-D (Preferred)

Experience


•Minimum 10–12-years Experience of Managing Manufacturing and Packaging Operations in Pharmaceuticals or FMCG / Food Industry
