Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Karachi for a Head of Settlement. The Head of Settlement will oversee the settlement process for trades and transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. They will manage the daily operations of the settlement team, handle financial reporting, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders. Responsibilities also include overseeing the reconciliation of financial discrepancies, preparing reports, and aiding in the budgeting process.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
  • Excellent Analytical Skills and knowledge in Finance
  • Proficiency in Budgeting
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with different departments
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred
  • Experience in asset management or a financial services environment is a plus
