What You'll Do:

As our Amazon Inventory Manager, you'll play a critical role in managing the back-end logistics that keep our business running smoothly. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and tracking inventory levels across Amazon FBA and Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD).
  • Maintaining optimal stock levels to avoid out-of-stock or overstock situations.
  • Closely monitoring sales velocity and stock trends to forecast inventory needs accurately.
  • Creating and submitting replenishment orders to Amazon (manual and automatic as needed).
  • Utilizing or building Excel-based tracking systems to monitor weekly replenishment schedules.
  • Forecasting seasonal demand to ensure sufficient inventory for high-sales periods.
  • Coordinating reorders from overseas suppliers (China) to ensure timely restocking and inventory flow.
  • Monitoring aged/long-term inventory and collaborating with the PPC and listing optimization teams to improve sell-through.
  • Tracking Amazon storage fees and Long-Term Storage Fees (LTSF) to reduce unnecessary costs.
  • Staying current on Amazon policy changes, fees, and logistics requirements, and communicating relevant updates to the team.
  • Operating within Odoo or similar inventory management software to ensure accurate records and planning.

What We're Looking For:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum).
  • At least 3 years of experience managing inventory in an Amazon FBA environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with inventory management tools or ERP systems like Odoo.

Skills & Qualities:

  • Strong understanding of Amazon inventory workflows, including FBA, AWD, and supply chain logistics.
  • Excellent forecasting and analytical skills to support data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional organization and time management abilities.
  • Clear and proactive communication skills — especially in a remote environment.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced ecommerce setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with private label inventory management for Amazon sellers.
  • Familiarity with Amazon fees, restock limits, IPI score, and sell-through metrics.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and managing lead times effectively.
