Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager Finance to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit and the construction industry, with 5-6 years of relevant experience. This role involves overseeing Accounting & financial operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning within our BPO environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits to assess financial controls, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, with a focus on construction-related projects and cost management.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and process improvements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring adherence to industry best practices in auditing and financial management.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education
: Part Qualified ACMA/CIMA/ACCA, or equivalent are highly preferred. - Experience
: 5-6 years of progressive experience in finance, with specific expertise in internal audit and the construction industry. - Experience in BPO industry or with international clients is an advantage.
- Skills
: - Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial regulations, and accounting principles (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
