We are seeking an 
Accountant & Compliance Executive at DOT LABS
to handle the full spectrum of financial operations from bookkeeping and payroll to regulatory filings and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Pakistani and UAE compliance frameworks and be comfortable managing everything from invoices and expenses to VAT and corporate tax filings.

11:00 am to 8:00 pm (full-time onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping & Financial Records:
     Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Filings:
     Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual returns with:
  • FBR (Federal Board of Revenue)
     – tax filings and returns
  • SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan)
     – annual returns and compliance
  • PSEB (Pakistan Software Export Board)
     – registration and reporting
  • EOBI (Employees' Old-Age Benefits Institution)
     – employee contributions
  • EMARATAX (UAE)
     – quarterly VAT and annual Corporate Tax filing
  • Any other relevant government or regulatory authority
  • Payroll Management:
  • Process monthly payroll including salary calculations, deductions, and benefits
  • Handle employee reimbursements and maintain expense records
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Manage company bills, payments, and vendor settlements
  • Prepare and send invoices to clients and follow up on payments
  • Financial Reporting:
     Support in preparing monthly and annual financial reports and statements for internal review and audit readiness.
  • Ad-hoc Financial Tasks:
     Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or professional certification like ACCA/CA/ICMA preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with FBR, SECP, PSEB, EOBI, and EMARATAX filings.
  • Strong understanding of VAT and Corporate Tax regulations in both Pakistan and UAE.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with government bodies, clients, and internal teams.
