Job Summary:

As an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. Your expertise in handling financial data, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting will contribute to the smooth and efficient functioning of our finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling financial statements, bank statements, and other accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Invoicing and Payments: Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer payments in a timely manner while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Accounts Receivable and Payable: Monitor accounts receivable and payable, follow up on outstanding payments, and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing various financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the organization's financial performance.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions and other relevant data into the accounting system while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Petty Cash Management: Handle petty cash transactions, maintain proper documentation, and reconcile the petty cash fund regularly.
  • Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain financial records, ensuring all documents are filed appropriately for easy retrieval during audits and financial reviews.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated with financial regulations and ensure compliance with accounting principles and relevant laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making processes within the organization.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the finance team and cross-functional departments to streamline financial processes and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 1 to 2 years in accounting or finance roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new accounting processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance procedures is a plus.
  • Any additional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) will be considered advantageous but are not required.
