Role Description
The Application Officer is responsible for managing and processing student applications for international universities and colleges. This role ensures timely and accurate submission of applications, coordination with students and institutions, and maintaining compliance with admission requirements and visa policies.
Key Responsibilities
Application Management
- Manage end-to-end student application process for international admissions
- Review student documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and eligibility
- Prepare, upload, and submit applications on university portals
- Track application status and follow up with universities and students
- Maintain updated records and documentation
Student Support
- Guide students on university requirements, documentation, and timelines
- Assist students in preparing personal statements, CVs, SOPs, and other supporting documents
- Provide accurate information about courses, entry requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and deadlines
- Ensure students understand and follow the application process
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with university admission teams when required
- Coordinate with counselors to align student program choices and application plans
- Respond promptly to student queries via email, phone, and meetings
- Arrange and conduct application filing sessions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education, Business, Social Sciences or related field)
- Prior experience in student counseling or application processing preferred
- Strong understanding of international university admission requirements
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office and online application portals
