Job description:

Main Purpose:

We are looking for a Accounts Supervisor to join our Accounts team. The role is essential in supporting the smooth financial operations of the company by handling internal and external transactions with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily banking operations, including bank reconciliations for office and client accounts.
  • Process client and office accounting transactions and maintain accurate postings.
  • Prepare cheques for both office and client accounts.
  • Process bank transfers and manage debit/credit card payments.
  • Oversee the administration of the purchase ledger and office payments.
  • Generate financial management reports as required.
  • Handle payroll.
  • Administer VAT returns and related documentation.
  • Manage supplier accounts and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Legal Aid Agency billing claims.
  • Stay updated and compliant with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inbound and outbound departmental correspondence.
  • Ensure all departmental processes are up to date, effective, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified Accountant, with Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant accounting or finance role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, bookkeeping, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel and Quick books.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • ACCA qualified or finalist are preferred.

Note: This is an on-site position in evening work shift (Bahria Town Phase 07)
