Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Virtual Assistant to support our U.S.-based clients with medical administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in healthcare administration, demonstrate professionalism, and possess strong written communication skills.

The role requires attention to detail, understanding of HIPAA compliance, and prior experience handling medical office support tasks in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient intake, scheduling, and appointment coordination
  • Conduct eligibility verification and insurance checks
  • Handle medical billing, claims follow-ups, and payment posting
  • Maintain electronic health records (EHR/EMR) accurately and securely
  • Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies professionally via email and phone
  • Ensure all tasks comply with HIPAA and data privacy standards
  • Provide general administrative support to the healthcare team as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Healthcare Virtual Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, or in a similar healthcare support role
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Proficiency in medical software (EHR/EMR systems) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Must be based in Lahore, Pakistan
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet remote workspace

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with U.S.-based healthcare clients
  • Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
