Senior Creative Designer – Email & Meta Marketing

Location: Remote

Excellent English communication skills are required due to the nature of this role.

Our client, a Danish digital marketing agency, is seeking a Senior Creative Designer with a strong background in email marketing design and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad creatives.

This role is ideal for a designer who combines creativity with a performance-driven mindset. The right candidate is deeply experienced in designing high-converting email templates, newsletters, and paid social creatives that align with marketing strategy and deliver measurable results.

This is not a generalist design role — we're looking for someone who has been working specifically within email and Meta creative design, and understands how to create visuals that engage and convert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design visually engaging and conversion-optimized email templates and newsletters.
  • Develop Meta ad creatives (static, carousel, and motion formats) that align with campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to translate campaign strategies into effective, on-brand visuals.
  • Ensure all designs are mobile-optimized, aligned with brand guidelines, and tailored for performance.
  • Continuously test and refine creatives based on campaign results and performance metrics.
  • Stay up to date with trends in email and paid social design, as well as best practices in digital marketing.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience designing email campaigns and Meta ad creatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of email design principles, including layout, hierarchy, and responsiveness.
  • Solid grasp of performance-driven design — how visuals impact click-through rates, conversions, and engagement.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Understanding of performance metrics and A/B testing for creatives.
  • Familiarity with motion design or short-form video ads.
  • Prior experience working with European or Danish marketing teams.
