Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible based on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced female bookkeeper and accountant to manage day-to-day financial records and provide accurate reporting. While this is a remote position, the candidate must be based in Karachi for occasional in-person meetings if needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with filings.
  • Provide regular financial reports and analysis to management.
  • Be available throughout the day to communicate with the manager/business owner about account statements and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of proven bookkeeping and accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets is must, and experience in any accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is recommended.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills (preferably English).
  • Must be a female candidate currently residing in Karachi.
