Role Summary:

The Display Merchandiser is responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining attractive in-store product displays and layouts across showrooms. The role ensures that all visual merchandising aligns with Japan Electronics' brand guidelines, enhances the customer shopping experience, and supports sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage in-store product displays, layouts, and visual arrangements to highlight promotions and new arrivals.
  • Ensure all display setups comply with corporate branding and merchandising standards.
  • Maintain the overall visual appeal and cleanliness of product displays and showrooms.
  • Collaborate with the retail and marketing teams for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional events.
  • Monitor and evaluate display effectiveness, suggesting improvements for better visibility and customer engagement.
  • Stay updated on current market trends, competitor displays, and new electronic products to ensure innovation in merchandising.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for branding materials, signage, and visual display assets.
  • Conduct regular visits to showrooms to ensure uniformity and compliance with merchandising plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail display management, preferably in the electronics or home appliances sector.
  • Strong sense of design, layout, and aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Canva, or Photoshop) will be an advantage.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Creative eye for visual detail and brand alignment.
  • Knowledge of retail display standards and customer engagement strategies.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong team collaboration and time management skills.
