Position Summary

The Digital Financial Services (DFS) stream at Karandaaz is seeking a Short-Term Technical Assistant (STTA) for its Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) team who can provide support with multiple ongoing projects and assignments.

Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and execution of RAAST adoption strategies, including merchant/customer acquisition, engagement, and retention programs.
• Assist in the design and roll-out of incentive-based campaigns aimed at increasing adoption and usage.
• Conduct regular analyses of adoption trends, RAAST performance, and user behaviour. Translate data into actionable insights and present findings in a structured manner.
• Stay informed on evolving market needs, new instant payment use cases, and similar schemes globally. Provide comparative research and analysis to inform team strategy.
• Work with acquiring entities to evaluate current merchant onboarding projects and support the development of strategies to expand the acceptance of RAAST at merchants across the country.
• Participate in meetings with key stakeholders, including the State Bank of Pakistan and implementation partners, to provide updates and gather feedback.
• Prepare and share regular reports on project progress, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities ensuring the effective performance of the DFS team at KRN.

Eligibility

Education & Experience

• A Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 0-2 years' experience of working in project management related roles ideally with digital payments and/or instant payment systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of digital financial services and an appetite to learn more
• Good analytical skills with the ability to work with data and present it in a structured form to aid decision making.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with multiple kinds of stakeholders
