Job Title: QA Specialist (Onsite)

At CyberSoftVantage, we are looking for a QA Specialist to join our team.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 1.5–2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing lifecycle, and defect management
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing, test case creation, test execution, and reporting
  • Experience in functional, regression, smoke, usability, and integration testing
  • Ability to identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar
  • Basic understanding of APIs and ability to test using tools like Postman
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum environment, and version control (Git)
  • Good understanding of UI/UX quality standards and cross-browser testing
  • Ability to work closely with development teams to ensure product quality
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In addition, the following skills would be advantageous:
  • Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
  • Experience writing basic automation scripts
  • Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries)
  • Understanding of API automation basics
  • Familiarity with performance and load testing concepts
