About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Team Lead – Admin to oversee company accommodation, mess operations, and janitorial staff. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor contacts, basic technical knowledge of plumbing/electrical services, and the ability to ensure smooth day-to-day facility management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage company accommodation, mess, and janitorial staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort.
- Coordinate with external vendors, including plumbers, electricians, and service providers, for timely maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor facility operations to ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain records of expenses, maintenance schedules, and staff performance using basic computer tools (MS Office, email, reporting tools).
- Handle employee facility-related grievances and ensure quick resolution.
- Drive improvements in facility efficiency and cost control.
- Show willingness to learn and adopt new systems, processes, and technologies.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, admin, or similar role.
- Strong network/contacts with service providers (plumbers, electricians, maintenance staff).
- Ability to lead and supervise staff effectively.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, emails, data entry).
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and grow.
