Job Summary

is looking for an experienced Head of Grain Quality Inspection to lead and oversee the quality control and inspection processes of grain commodities such as rice, wheat, corn, and other agri-products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance with safety standards, and adherence to international grading and inspection requirements. This role is vital in maintaining product integrity, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage quality inspection processes for rice, wheat, corn, and other grains.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with international quality standards and export/import regulations.
  • Supervise laboratory testing, sampling, and grading of grains to ensure consistency.
  • Monitor storage and handling practices to prevent degradation, contamination, and pest issues.
  • Prepare inspection and quality assurance reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Train and lead quality inspection teams to ensure process adherence and accuracy.
  • Work closely with procurement, trading, and logistics teams to resolve quality-related issues.

Prerequisites

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Food Sciences, Quality Management, or any relevant field.

Experience:

7–10 years of experience in grain quality inspection, laboratory testing, and quality assurance. Experience in handling international quality certifications and compliance is highly preferred.

Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of grain quality standards, grading systems, and inspection protocols.
  • Expertise in laboratory testing, sampling methods, and pest/disease detection.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with national and international food safety regulations.
