Job Description:

Pakistan Solar Association is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Documentation & Proposal Development Officer with hands-on experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals, bid submissions, and tender documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong command over Microsoft Word and Excel, and must be capable of handling documentation independently with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, draft, and compile tender documents, proposals, and RFP/RFQ responses in compliance with client and organizational requirements.
  • Review bid invitations, tender notices, and eligibility criteria, ensuring complete and timely submissions.
  • Maintain organized records of submitted proposals, bid statuses, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for technical and financial inputs required in proposal preparation.
  • Analyze tender requirements, develop checklists, and ensure compliance with all instructions and formats.
  • Maintain proficiency in MS Word and Excel for documentation, formatting, and data management.
  • Support management in identifying potential tender opportunities in the renewable energy and solar industry.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with company standards, accuracy, and confidentiality protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of prior experience in tender and proposal documentation, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong command over Microsoft Word and Excel (advanced formatting, tables, formulas, and data handling).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with government and private sector tendering processes.
  • Knowledge of energy policies, solar industry standards, and project documentation procedures.
  • Experience in proposal costing and technical document formatting.
