We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Senior Technical Recruiter
to lead the full-cycle recruitment of technical talent across our organization. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business and hiring stakeholders, develop talent sourcing strategies, own the pipeline management, and contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment practices aligned with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Talent Acquisition & Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical roles (software engineers, DevOps, data engineers, QA/automation) from job description development through to offer acceptance.
  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and future-state skills needs.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to engage active and passive candidates via LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, networking events, and community meet-ups.
  • Manage candidate screening and interviewing processes, including technical assessments, behavioural interviews, and culture-fit evaluations.

Pipeline Management & Employer Branding

  • Build and nurture a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs; proactively engage candidates to keep the flow of ready talent.
  • Promote the employer brand and candidate experience through recruitment marketing, events, university programs, and referral networks.
  • Monitor, report and improve recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source channel efficiency, offer acceptance rates).

Stakeholder Collaboration & Talent Consulting

  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and HR leadership on talent market conditions, compensation benchmarking, sourcing channel effectiveness, and hiring strategies.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, compensation & benefits, and external vendors to ensure a seamless recruitment process and candidate onboarding.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment processes, tools, and workflows to drive efficiencies and candidate quality.

Leadership & Mentoring (optional depending on scope)

  • Guide and mentor junior recruiters and sourcing specialists; share best practices and support their development.
  • Take ownership of high-priority and senior/leadership technical roles; drive results with minimal oversight.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
  • Typically
    2-3 years
    of full-cycle technical recruitment experience, in software/IT services environments.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting for roles such as software engineers, cloud/DevOps, data engineers, QA automation.
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques, Boolean search strings, and use of LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, job boards, ATS/CRM tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and candidate-experience skills.
  • Metrics-driven mindset with ability to analyse data and deliver recruitment insights and improvements.
