We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with a strong finance background to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on financial processes, reporting, and data-driven insights. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business processes, financial data, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Work closely with finance, operations, and technology teams to support business decisions.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to provide actionable insights for management.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis and recommend process improvements or system enhancements.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Support project management activities, including timelines, testing, and implementation of financial systems or tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Min years of experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
Strong knowledge of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup while managing multiple priorities.
