Role Overview

We are seeking a
Business Analyst
with at least
2 years of experience in the Payments domain in Pakistan
. The role requires understanding of
local payment rails, regulatory frameworks, and settlement systems
, bridging business requirements with technical implementation. The candidate will work closely with banks, financial institutions, and internal teams to deliver robust and compliant payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements for
    domestic payment systems
    including
    Raast, PRISM (RTGS), 1LINK (IBFT, Bill Payments, PayPak), and interbank transfers
    .
  • Document detailed functional requirements, process flows, and business use cases.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current processes and proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), prepare test cases, and validate end-to-end payment transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with
    SBP regulations, circulars, and guidelines
    for electronic and digital payments.
  • Support clients post-implementation with training, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
  • Monitor
    emerging payment trends
    in Pakistan and suggest product/feature improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
    .
  • At least
    2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking/Payments domain (Pakistan market)
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Raast, PRISM (RTGS), 1LINK (IBFT, PayPak, Bill Payments)
    and local payment infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills with ability to prepare
    BRDs, FSDs, and workflows
    .
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Visio, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to
    SBP reporting and settlement processes
    .
  • Experience in
    banking integration projects
    involving payments.
  • Familiarity with
    ISO 20022 standards
    (advantage for future migration).
  • Relevant certifications such as
    ECBA, CBAP, or payments-related training
    .
