Position Summary

We are seeking a Mobile Game 2D Artist with proven experience creating 2D art and user interfaces specifically for mobile and HTML5/WebGL games. This role requires candidates with a portfolio featuring published mobile titles in casual, hyper-casual, or puzzle genres. Only mobile gaming industry experience will be considered.

Core Responsibilities

  • Visual Asset Creation:
    Create 2D game assets for characters, environments, UI, FX, and promotions tailored to casual and hyper-casual styles.

  • UI/UX Design:
    Build intuitive, appealing interfaces and flows for mobile and WebGL games.

  • Game Art Direction:
    Help define and maintain consistent visuals across all projects, ensuring a cohesive style.

  • Animation Support:
    Design and prepare assets for character/UI animations, and assist with animation implementation in Unity.

  • Marketing Creatives:
    Produce visuals for playable ads, banners, and other promotional content for game marketing.

  • Iteration & Feedback:
    Quickly refine visuals based on internal feedback, playtests, and analytics.

  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration:
    Work closely with developers, marketers, and QA to ensure efficient asset implementation and performance.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years creating art specifically for mobile games (casual, hyper-casual, puzzle genres)
  • Portfolio showcasing art from shipped mobile games with clear contribution details
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Spine or similar 2D animation tools
  • Experience optimizing art assets for Unity mobile and WebGL performance
  • Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills from mobile game team experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D models texturing for mobile games
  • Working knowledge of Unity's animation/particle systems in mobile production
  • Current awareness of mobile/casual/hyper-casual game art trends
  • Experience creating playable ads, store optimization assets, and UA creatives
