Job Title: Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Siemens PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation in Orient Energy Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, program, and commission Siemens PLC systems using TIA Portal, PCS 7, STEP 7, and related tools.
  • Develop and integrate HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC, TIA Portal).
  • Perform FAT/SAT, documentation, and on-site commissioning for automation projects.
  • Configure and manage industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP/IP, IEC61850, and Ruggedcom.
  • Implement and maintain safety systems using Siemens Safety Integrated platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project design, testing, and delivery.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and cybersecurity integration (e.g., Nozomi NIDS).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Control Engineering (BE Mechatronics preferred).
  • 3 years of professional experience in industrial automation and control systems.
  • Proven expertise in Siemens PLC/HMI/SCADA environments (TIA Portal, PCS 7, STEP 7, WinCC).
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication networks and cybersecurity principles.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware configuration, system integration, and commissioning.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
