The Role:

The Senior BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. He/She will lead BI projects, optimize data models, ensure data accuracy, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders through dashboards, reports, and analytics. In short, you'll be the architect behind our data stories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end BI solutions
    using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Power BI,
  • Develop scalable data models
    and dashboards that deliver actionable insights across departments,
  • Integrate diverse data sources
    into OneLake and build Lakehouse/Warehouse structures for analytics,
  • Collaborate with stakeholders
    to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Optimize DAX queries and Power BI performance
    for real-time reporting and analytics
  • Ensure data governance and security
    , including row-level security and compliance standards
  • Support data migration projects
    from legacy systems to Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
  • Document processes and maintain best practices
    for BI development and deployment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree or relevant experience in computer sciences / design or related fields
  • 4-8 years
    of experience with
    Power BI
    , including DAX, data modeling, and report development
  • Hands-on experience with
    Microsoft Fabric
    ,
    OneLake
    , and
    Lakehouse architecture
  • Strong understanding of
    ETL processes
    ,
    data warehousing
    , and
    Azure Data Factory
  • Proficiency in
    SQL
    ,
    T-SQL
    , and
    data visualization best practices
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
    ,
    DevOps
    , and
    version control (Git)
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
