Business Development Associate

We are seeking a strategically sharp and highly proactive Business Development Associate who can maximize Upwork lead generation opportunities. Your primary mission: generate high-quality leads daily by identifying the right projects, crafting compelling proposals, and driving a consistent flow of potential clients for our technology services business.
If you are commercially astute, resourceful, and have a problem-solving mindset that thrives in fast-paced, results-driven environments, this role is for you.
What You'll Do:Actively search and bid on relevant Upwork projects daily (Web, Mobile, and Custom Software Development).
Identify and qualify high-potential opportunities aligned with our service offerings.
Craft tailored, impactful proposals to increase client engagement and response rates.
Collaborate with the technical team on proposal strategy, scoping, and pricing.
Maintain a structured tracker of all bids, responses, and outcomes.
Continuously analyze bidding performance and optimize strategies for higher conversions.
Provide insights and feedback to improve positioning and messaging.
Proven experience generating leads or securing projects on Upwork (mandatory).
Strong understanding of software development services (Web, Mobile, Shopify, WordPress, or Custom Solutions).
Exceptional written communication and proposal-writing skills.
Commercially astute, resourceful, and proactive able to identify and seize opportunities independently.
Strong critical thinking and analytical ability to evaluate client needs quickly.
Self-driven with a consistent track record of achieving lead-generation goals.
Work with a fast-growing international software studio serving clients across the US, Canada, and Europe.
