Position Summary

This position is responsible for achieving sales growth and distribution excellence by developing and executing territory-wise sales plans, ensuring 100% target achievement across brands, packs, and channels. It involves driving new customer acquisition, maintaining existing client relationships, and ensuring timely resolution of customer and consumer issues. The position oversees distributor management, including financial health, inventory control, compliance with company policies, and adherence to FIFO and warehousing standards. It also requires accurate reporting, forecasting, and market intelligence to support strategic decisions, while ensuring sales records, route plans, and performance data are consistently maintained and aligned with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales Planning & Achievement: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve 100% volume, brand, and SKU-wise targets as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monitoring performance daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Target Allocation: Split and assign monthly sales targets by area and territory based on historical data, market potential, and category priorities (e.g., Danedar, Tapal Special, Shades of Green Tea Bags).
  • Customer Development: Drive new customer acquisition, ensure effective coverage through sales routes (PJPs), and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Oversee timely resolution of customer and consumer complaints, ensuring feedback is escalated and addressed promptly.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Ensure accurate and timely submission of sales forecasts, reports, customer databases, and market intelligence updates.
  • Distribution Management: Monitor distributor health, stock levels, and financial viability; enforce FIFO, proper warehousing, and adherence to company policies.
  • Compliance & Market Discipline: Prevent sale of counterfeit products, ensure pricing discipline, and verify distributor claims and business plan performance.
  • Administration & Communication: Maintain updated sales and outlet records, ensure timely reporting, and support effective coordination with sales and zonal management teams.

Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Sales
