About the Role

Dictalabs is looking for a
Junior Business Development Officer
with at least
6 months of proven experience in Upwork bidding
. The ideal candidate should also have basic knowledge of LinkedIn lead generation and email marketing. You will assist in generating leads, writing proposals, and contributing to the overall business development process. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow in the IT business development field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads through
    Upwork (must-have), LinkedIn, and email campaigns
    .
  • Write and submit effective proposals on
    Upwork
    and other freelancing platforms.
  • Learn and assist in the project bidding process to target relevant opportunities.
  • Maintain communication with potential clients under supervision.
  • Track competitor activities and support in preparing performance reports.
  • Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to ensure proposals meet client requirements.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive profile reputation on freelancing platforms.
  • Assist in building and nurturing long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 months – 1 year of experience in Upwork bidding (mandatory).
  • Additional experience in LinkedIn lead generation or email marketing will be a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the
    Upwork bidding process
    and proposal writing.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn about IT services such as web/mobile development, UI/UX, QA, etc.
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets, MS Office, or other basic reporting tools.
