Assistant Manager - Training and Engagement

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive employee engagement and training strategies aligned with the organization's values, goals, and objectives.
  • Identify key drivers of employee engagement through Pulse Surveys, feedback mechanisms, and People Matrices, and develop action plans to address areas for improvement.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of organizational training need analysis (TNA) through various methods, such as data facts, performance evaluations, and consultations with department heads.
  • Analyze skills gaps and identify areas for improvement to inform the development of targeted training program.

Training Delivery and Facilitation:

  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions using various methodologies, such as classroom instruction, workshops, seminars, Soft Skills Training, Refreshers, Learning with Fun, Simulations, Activities, Career Ladder, Change Ambassador Programs, Mindfulness, online platforms and Ad-hoc training programs.
  • Training of new and existing employees to educate any change, policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate interactive learning experiences to promote knowledge retention and skill application.

Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement strategies, programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and satisfaction.
  • Organize cultural events, team-building activities, and employee appreciation initiatives to foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie.

Coaching & Well-being:

  • Champion initiatives and programs that promote employee well-being, health, and work-life balance, resilience, growth mind set, job satisfaction, work happiness, including wellness activities, and employee assistance programs.
  • One-on-one coaching and Focus Group to maintain psychological contract fulfillment, and use insights for engagement initiatives and decision-making processes.

Learning & Development (L&D):

  • Collaborate with senior management and department leaders to align learning and development initiatives with strategic goals and business objectives. Build relationships with internal stakeholders to gain support and sponsorship for training programs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance and conduct L&D initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Establish career planning routes, growth strategies of employees, succession planning and career path of employees.

Employee Performance Management:

  • Train managers and supervisors on providing constructive feedback, coaching employees, and conducting performance conversations effectively.
  • Continuous improvement in company's performance evaluation strategy and execution aligned with the business goals.
  • Identify performance issues or areas of concern and collaborate with managers to develop and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) to address them.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers in documenting performance concerns, KPIs formulation, setting clear expectations, and monitoring progress toward improvement.

Organizational Culture:

  • Develop and articulate the organization's culture vision, values, and desired behaviors in collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to evaluate the current organizational culture, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and measure employee sentiment and engagement.

Leadership & Communication:

  • Establish effective communication channels and platforms to facilitate open and transparent communication between employees and management.
  • Collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one discussions.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in HRM.
  • 4-7 years of experience as a Trainer, preferably in the software & tech industry.
  • Proven track record of training, development, and employee engagement
