We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager – Commercial to oversee commercial activities, vendor research, and bidding processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling procurement and correspondence with vendors, particularly in the oil & gas and defense industries, as well as the electrical and mechanical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial operations, ensuring efficient procurement and vendor management.
  • Conduct research to identify potential vendors in electrical, mechanical, oil & gas, and defense industries.
  • Handle correspondence with vendors, negotiate terms, and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee the bidding process, including tender documentation, proposal preparation, and submission.
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and industry developments to support procurement strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, contractual obligations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align commercial activities with business objectives.
  • Maintain detailed records of transactions, vendor agreements, and bidding outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in commercial operations, vendor management, and procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of the oil & gas, defense, electrical, and mechanical industries.
  • Experience in handling the bidding process and tender management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software is a plus.
